Mike Barrie

Mike has been a professional musician for most of his working life and has worked many places home & abroad. Past gigs have included an 18 month tour of South Africa’s Southern Sun Hotels, an extensive tour of the Far East which involved a two year residency at the Miramar Hotel Hong Kong and a three week stint at the prestigious Monte Carlo Casino Cabaret Club Monaco. Also with his band, a one month residency at the Marriot Hotel Amsterdam.

Now based in Liss Hampshire Mike plays for private parties, corporate functions, social clubs and pubs etc. The style of music includes songs from the sixties through to present day but more concentrated on 60/70/80’s. From lively rock sets to ballads plus some jazz standards when appropriate.

Although a solo act Mike’s capability to supply lively dance sets is more than adequate using his own mixed pro backing tracks, so if you require live music but not necessarily a full band Mike is ideally suited, but if you decide on a band Mike also goes out with his three or four piece who in the past have played numorous corporate functions & weddings.
